    Since the Synchron Brass just came out (and it seems great so far), I guess eventually there will be a Synchron Woodwind.

    So I'd like to go on record with two requests. 

    1) The new controller 8 for controlling timbre would be super useful for woodwinds!

    2) I'd like patches with stronger vibrato for flute, oboe, bassoon, etc. And maybe long notes with increasing/decreasing vibrato. 

    Just my 2 cents!

    Speaking of vouchers: since I guess many of us are waiting for the Woodwinds and other missing instruments, I'm sure a voucher sale would be welcome and well received…

    Hi, yes WW and in particular a SY Harp would make this series pretty complete. Bravo VSL!

    Usually, the voucher sale takes place in December. So you'll have to wait a few more months.

    I'm really hoping that VSL Synchron Woodwinds will be the next big library release !

    If (when) Synchron Woodwinds come, here are the individual instruments I hope they'll start with:

    Piccolo
    Flute 1
    Flute 2
    Oboe 1
    Oboe 2
    English Horn
    Clarinet 1
    Clarinet 2
    Bass Clarinet
    Bassoon 1
    Bassoon 2
    Contrabassoon


    I'd be more than happy to accept the woodwind ensembles from BBO Neptune and Orion in it, too!

    Nice list but I'm not sure there will be 12 solo instruments. There are 8 in Synchron Brass.

    I hope Alto Flute and Piccolo Clarinet (in Eb) will not be neglected! And I hope there will be room for a Contrabass Clarinet!

    There may be an alto flute but I bet there won't be any piccolo clarinet.

    Ah, shame! I even purchased a cheapo Piccolo Clarinet myself, for how much I like this instrument. I even endured the vinyl smell that filled my house for months, to be able to have something looking and sounding similar to it!

    But fine, I still have the excellent VI versions.

    I hope there will be a bass flute. I like this instrument so much. But it is likely that there won't be.

    The fact is that Bass Flute is of very rare use in the orchestra. It has a very feeble sound, and is better suited as a soloist. It would deserve many more pieces than the ones available.

    I could only try a Contrabass Flute once. At a noisy exhibition. What my fingers felt (and my ears couldn't) was grandiose!

    This is true, but hey, I can still dream. The original VI Brass 1 and Woodwinds 1 libraries only had 4 soloists, so I’m curious to see how they’ll tackle Synchron Woodwinds.

    I think this makes complete sense.  Those are the staples, and individual control of them (i.e. those twelve soloists) is especially important for woodwind writing, regardless of genre.  +1
