Since the Synchron Brass just came out (and it seems great so far), I guess eventually there will be a Synchron Woodwind.

So I'd like to go on record with two requests. 

1) The new controller 8 for controlling timbre would be super useful for woodwinds!

2) I'd like patches with stronger vibrato for flute, oboe, bassoon, etc. And maybe long notes with increasing/decreasing vibrato.

Hi, yes WW and in particular a SY Harp would make this series pretty complete. Bravo VSL!

I'm really hoping that VSL Synchron Woodwinds will be the next big library release !

I'd be more than happy to accept the woodwind ensembles from BBO Neptune and Orion in it, too! 

I hope Alto Flute and Piccolo Clarinet (in Eb) will not be neglected! And I hope there will be room for a Contrabass Clarinet!

Ah, shame! I even purchased a cheapo Piccolo Clarinet myself, for how much I like this instrument. I even endured the vinyl smell that filled my house for months, to be able to have something looking and sounding similar to it!

But fine, I still have the excellent VI versions.

The fact is that Bass Flute is of very rare use in the orchestra. It has a very feeble sound, and is better suited as a soloist. It would deserve many more pieces than the ones available.

I could only try a Contrabass Flute once. At a noisy exhibition. What my fingers felt (and my ears couldn't) was grandiose!

I think this makes complete sense.  Those are the staples, and individual control of them (i.e. those twelve soloists) is especially important for woodwind writing, regardless of genre.  +1
