    Looking for feedback on this arrangement I made a few years back, of Bear McCreary’s Passacaglia from Battlestar Galactica. The original remains a favorite of mine, and is the song I used to get an initial feel for using VSL / VIPro / MirPro.

    I had stopped working on music for a while, but just found out that VSL is moving to iLok. As that will make me feel much more comfortable buying more instrument licenses, I’m thinking of getting back into this. I’m not a very musically literate person, so I’m sure I have many areas to work on.

    Hi Chris,

    This is a rather good version. Only you miss a bit of the details of the instruments because of the big reverb and recording distance.

    Thank you, I appreciate it, both the kind words and the critique.  I'd be the first to admit that post/mixing is a very weak spot for me.  As I know what all the instruments are doing, I can tend to hear what I expect to hear, but getting confirmation that it's not like that for others definitely helps give me something to work on.
