    This might be a pretty stupid question however ...

    Is there a simple way to identify which version of which libs I own can be updated? 

    • Easiest way would be (In Directory Manager or Download Manager?) to have an "update all" button
    • Another option would be to just somehow list the versions (and last update timestamp?) somewhere

    I don't even know how I can figure out which version I am currently running, so my usual way just to download all updates and see what happens, but this is not convenient and also I don't want to download the files again and again (Ok Bandwidth and transmission cost is not a huge issue anymore, but still it does not feel right)

    Is really nobody else facing this issue?

    I now try to manually update an excel sheet with the last update dates i executed, but overall this is not very user friendly ....

    Hi gabriel81,

    Unfortunately we didn't track the Library Updates of our VI Collections, but we are documenting our Synchron Libraries, e.g. Synchron Strings Pro.

    I hope that we can come up with a better solution for VI Collections soon, but for now it's a manual process.

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for the answer, however I am not 100% sure how this can help me? Is there somewhere a possibility to figure out which version of which Instrument i currently have installed? So in case I find Synchron Strings Pro Library Update 01, i could go to your page and figure out that I am missing Update 02?

    Hi Gabriel, 

    Not that I know. 
    However, all Library Updates will be added to the newly packed iLok-protected sample content, and our advanced Download Manager will then keep track of all changes. That's the plan!

    I was hoping that would be the case :)

    Gabriel, in the mean time, it does no harm to reinstall updates, so when in doubt, install the update!
