Hi Guys,
i have fun working on a Humperdinck Opera with basic VI Instruments and MIRx, while i plan to go for MIR Pro soon, i find the VI Player MIRx Plugins interesting because if i load a Sound and mute it i can still use the MIRx position, in this Case Dimension Violins and Chamber Violins are at position of Chamber Violins.
However because this is a huge Piece with lot of Instruments wonder what are good Dry/Wet settings. What are your Recommendations for Strings, Woodwinds, Brass and Perc MIRx Dry/Wet Settings ?
I use Vienna Konzerthaus Grosser Saal File Attachment(s): vi1.PNG (1,673kb) downloaded 5 time(s).You cannot view/download attachments. Try to login or register.

Great to hear that you like MIRx! :-)
There's no definitive answer to your question, though. The default values you recall with MIRx is already what I thought to be meaningful starting points, individually set and carefully adjusted for each and every instrument, in relation to all others the chosen MIRx Venue. But of course the "ideal" reverb balance depends a lot on your music, the arrangements, the style and last not least your taste and habits.
The good news is that you can easily adjust the suggested balance, at every stage of your work. You can also synchronize these adjustments across all VI-instances.
