  • Logic forgetting vibrato setting in Synchron

I just started using the Synchron-ized woodwinds I package.  When I have the Synchron player open and select Legato with vibrato, it plays vibrato just fine.  I save that preset in Synchron and save the Logic project, but after closing and re-opening the project, that track no longer has vibrato -- the legato setting is set to "no vibrato".  This happens with all the instruments I've tried so far in the woodwinds package.  I've tried repeatedly to save the setting in Synchron and save it in Logic, but it always comes back up next time with no vibrato.  Any suggestions on how I can fix this?

EDIT: Just to clarify, this is in the most recent version of Logic Pro X, version 10.7.0.

EDIT: And this is the Synchron-ized Woodwinds I and the newest version of the Synchron player, both downloaded this week.

  • I changed the controller for vibrato to "None", and now it correctly loads with vibrato.  I'm guessing Logic was, for some reason, sending a CC1 event after loading the project, which was causing that dimension to reset to No Vibrato, even if the saved setting had vibrato selected.  I don't know enough about MIDI to understand why that would happen, but removing the controller seems to have fixed the problem.  It wasn't just CC1 -- on some instruments it was a Dim. A/B/C/D that I had to remove.
