Hi there,
I was building a new template within DP11 and VEP 7. While visualizing an instance of Kontakt6 within VEP7, I've typed "." (dot) on the numeric keypad. The PROJECT instance detached from the SERVER project window. So I've typed "." again embed the PROJECT window within the SERVER window.
In that moment the Kontakt6 window became all white, everything all unresponsive for many seconds, I saw the crash window appearing, I've sent the report and eventually VEP7 disappeared leaving a crash log.
Any idea?

Working with VEP7 is getting a nightmare. It crash while doing very simple things like saving a Kontakt patch or changing buffer within Digital Performer, actions that I've always did without any problem. I'm attaching one of the dozen crashlogs

Hi danworks,
Just heard back from our developers.
The crash from Dec. 27th looks like a crash inside some Kontakt internal file dialog, I'm afraid this is rather a coincidence.
The crash from Dec 6th could be related to instance snapping. We are looking into it!

I've had issues with dialogues not responding to the computer keyboard, forcing me to use the menu, eg., 'Open recent...', which seem related to other instability. Kontakt is one of the places I get this, loading instruments or multis. MacBookPro 18,3

I experience this a lot as well. Frequent crashes around doing even simple changes in a Kontakt hosted VI.

I have had this as well. Clearly the instantiation of Kontakt is very flimsy?
