  • Very low volume output when using any instruments in Synchron Player

    Hello,

I made a quick YouTube video that would be easier to explain. I've shown all my settings in the video, both in the software, my DAC (Audient iD4), and other applications on Windows to compare the volume output to. This is affecting all instruments in the Synchron player, both native and Synchron-ized libraries.

It's about 2-3 minutes long. I appreciate anyone with technical expertise to take a look at it. I've done much troubleshooting for many hours.

    All my best,
    Justin

    Hi Justin,

Not sure this will help but to me, it looks like you have a different volume set for the web browser then for your DAW.

    try this:

    Hello Justin
    Two/three possibilities from my side.

    A)
I see that you are pressing on the keyboard with the mouse.  Presumably the player is set up so that you get ff tones when you press all the way down on the keys and pp tones when you press the top of the keyboard keys (where they would come out of the unit if it were hardware).

    B) presumably the flugelhorn volume is adjusted at the moment so that it would have the correct volume when a whole symphony orchestra is playing (correct volume ratio to all other instruments).
Check all the presets ("Mixer View" on the far right, above). There may be presets where it says "solo" or "loud" or "compressed",...

There is also a "default" setting in the presets. There, all changes (including "volume adjustments") are basically switched off. The flugelhorn should then sound louder in any case.

    C) Youtube videos should not be used for comparison, because they are often extremely "pushed", which affects the volume. You can see this in the fact that the LED simulation on the output meter practically always lights up.

I had this problem of volume between VI, Synchron and other player

I have rooted each sections/player to a bus so it was much more easy to have le level right !
