  • Turn off velocity sensitivity completely for Synchron?

Greetings! I'm still pretty new to Synchron instruments. Can't find a way to completely turn off velocity sensitivity as one can with conventional VSL instruments. To clarify: I want to control velocity ENTIRELY with the VEL XF parameter. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks,

    Peter

  • Hi Peter,

As soon as you activate the Velocity XFade slider, everything in the Synchron Player instance will be affected.

  • Peter,

Be aware of that in the ”XF sus” patches the VEL XF parameter control the longs while the shorts are controlled by velocity. So, if you want to use the VEL XF parameter exclusively, choose (if available) the ”XF” presets instead of the ”XF sus” presets.

  • Also, on the Edit page you can turn it on/off per patch, or use the global (per preset) setting.

  • HĂĄkan— a very belated thank you for your responses, which I somehow missed in January! Just getting into Synchron Player for real now, and was please to note that I had not only already asked the question this thread asks, but that I got good answers!

    Much appreciated,

    Peter
