Website extremely slow

Hi,

The website and forum are extremely slow here. Sometimes, the browser even stops trying, and says that communication with the server has gone down. It has been this way for months, and gone worse.

I suspect this depend on the bandwidth to devote to the downloads. I would suggest to separate the download server from the other services, if this is the case.

sorry to hear you have such a delay for the response in your browser - is there a specific page to look at?
just checked and see an average responsetime of 3.5 sec. we'll have a look into the issue.

It's not slow here in the North Eastern US

At the moment (since this morning) the speed is excellent. Maybe it was a problem in my area (Center-East Italy) during the latest days.

Since a few days, the web site and forum are incredibly slow again. They sometimes even stop responding. No issues with other web sites (including ones in Austria).
