  • New PC, Cubase can't find Synchron Player

    Hi folks!

I just finished this brand new build and have everything running great on Windows 11 with Cubase 11 Pro, but after installing my Vienna software, I can't see the Synchron Player anywhere in Cubase's plugin list.

I copied my "VSL Instruments" folder form my old PC, and copied it onto a new hard drive in my new PC.

I then proceeded to login-to My Vsl, downloaded the latest Synchron Player and Vienna Ensemble Pro.

After running both installers, I opened Cubase and can only see Vienna Ensemble Pro as well as "Vienna Ensemble Pro Event Input" (I'm not even sure what this is yet).  I can not see the Synchron Player anywhere in the list, and it is not "Black-Listed" either.

I can indeed see an icon labeled "Vienna Synchron Player"  at C>Program Files>Vienna Synchron Player, but I don't think it's the VST3 file (I guess).  I pointed Cubase at this folder as an addtional folder to find plugins, and that did not resolve the issue either.

I have a brand new film to start as of this morning, and I would really love to have this final piece of the puzzle put together.

Any ideas?  Please and Thank You!

  • Well, I feel silly, but I just uninstalled and re-installed, adding the VST2 version.  I was just trying to install the VST3, but now both have shown up.  At least I solved that much.  Now to point the plug-in at my library folders.....
