Hi All
I recently upgraded from 5 ( rock solid) to 7. I'm on a very powerful PC with 265 gig ram. It crashes a LOT. Hangs up on saves, takes forever sometimes to load., and gives me grief . Anybody else ?

Yes latest builds are useless over here (Mac though). Use either the build from 2020 (1056) or the one from earlier in Nov 2021 (1113) if you can. They should be in the downloads archive section. I would try 1056 first.

Downgrading to 1056 seems to have solved my problems. I've had more crashes in the past two months than I have had in the past ten years. Seems out of character for VSL.

For me:
Right Click
Choose 'Insert Plugin'
Start typing ........ Instant crash. Didnt have this problem before 7.0.1120

Just upgraded from 6.5 (which never crashed) and found that 7 crashed constantly. I've reinstalled 6.5 and the crashing has stopped, but have lost the last fortnight's work, since I can't open the more recent saves of the session that used 7.
I thought I'd try to install 7.0.1056 since it seems to work for most of you, but only VE5/6 show up in my 'myDownloads' section, and Vienna Assistant only shows the most recent update and seems to bury any legacy installers. Any ideas where else I might be able to access these?
