    Hi,

     

    Just incase its useful for someone else.

     

    I have 12 instances in VEP all with a region at the beginning with default controller settings for synchron and VI...

     

    A while ago I added a C-2 to the timpani in the mallet instance so that it would default to stroke rather than creac. when I played it.

    This one midi note loads ALL the instances with samples when pressing play and once the song starts playing loads the complete samples. Not sure why this is , Im sure someone knows, but happy to put this one behind me.

    I have a region at the beginning of my tracks to set all my controllers to a default positions.

    When I play a track from the beginning I can see that samples are loading in the synchron player. Woodwinds for example loads 0.85 gb's of samples before I play a note. This obviously slows down the process etc.

     

    I will also add that it seems to be random... if it doesn't do the above then when I start the track and it activates the first midi note it loads the 0.85 gbs of samples.

     

    I'm working on a large template at the moment and apologize if I have missed something obvious, but this has stumped me. 

    I hope someone can shed some light on this.

     

     

    I am using the latest logic and vepro 7.
