    Hi everyone, just bought VEP 7 to speed up the transition of MIR to iLok. So far, always used MIR plugin with MainStage.  I have a problem now and I don’t know if it is related to VEP7 and iLok (MIR does not see all my roompacks, for example) or am doing something wrong.

    I am on Mac Big Sur, using VEP7 standalone. I setup 20 channels in VEP7 with inputs from my audio card (RME MADIFACE XT) 1 to 20, coupled in stereo pairs. I play a digital instrument with 20 analogue outputs, feed them into an AD converter and then Madiface xt. VEP7 audio and routing preferences set properly (not so much to set actually) and still there is no input from the audio interface (which is working correctly when checked with RME totalmix). If I do the same on MainStage or Logic all is fine.

    the only thing the works is the audio output. 

    Any ideas of what it could be?

    Tried yesterday with a different setup,  Mac mini M1, Big Sur, with both fireface ucx and fireface 400. No input whatsoever from the soundcard in VEP7.

    But MainStage, Reaper and Logic, all work perfectly.

    Isn’t anyone here using VEP7 standalone with inputs from sound cards who can help?

    Hi Paolo, 

    VE Pro Standalone is actually used very rarely... And I'm afraid I have to confirm your findings, the Audio Inputs simply don't work... 

    We'll try to fix this, but it's not a priority at this point in time.

    Hi Paul, how do I revert back to Elicenser? 

    I transferred the MIR licence to iLok because I was notified by mail that I could do it. Then discovered that MIR plugin is not included in the transition. Too late. Bought VEP7 to solve the issue and then discovered that standalone version does not work. Great.

    Now I try to use MIR plugin with Elicenser but it does not work.
