    I am running DP 11.04 on a Windows 11 Pro machine.

    I installed the new version of VEP server using the Vienna Assistant and now none of my MAS VEP plugins will load in any of my projects. What is more, they do not appear in my browser either.

    Oddly, they DO appear in Preferences in the plugins section! All of the versions are listed there - MAS, VST2 and VST3. But, they are not accessible by DP. All instances in any project simply do not load the plugin, not even if I leave the eLicenser dongle in place.

    If I uninstall the latest version and install 7.0.1120 in its place everything is fine again. This has eaten up my entire morning to sort out, just to find that if I'd left everything alone I'd still be getting work done today.

    In my case, I own three licenses for VEP server. Already the new system would require me to buy a new iLok Key (combined with the singular VSL Cloud instance) to run all three. So, this new upset only compounds my dissatisfaction with this new move. Very frustrating day.

    Did you know that you can keep on using your existing eLicenser setup on your existing setup forever?

    No dissatisfaction, no hard feelings. Just options ðŸ˜Š.

    Yes Paul, and thank you for mentioning that for the benefit of other readers who may stumble across this post.

    Still, though I am continually thrilled and satisfied with your Vienna Ensemble Pro Server, that was a very frustrating six hours as I tried everything under the sun attempting to figure out what was going on.

    I beta test for a few others, including NI. Let me know if you'd like me to beta test for you!

    Hi Paul,

    I have the same problem in DP, had to go back to the e-licenser version.

    I hope you can solve this ASAP, since I am sure there will be future upgrades to VE PRo, right?

    I just want to report that as of this moment, The MAS version of VePro plugin seems to be working for me in DP11.  I do notice that the actual MAS plugin bundle is dated as yesterday, so perhaps there has been a recent update, @Alan and others I suggest checking Vienna Assistant for updates..  I just installed it an hour ago for the first time. But anyway, the MAS plugin seems to work for me.  Hopefully it will be working for you now too.

    Thank you for mentioning this. However I tried it this morning with VE Pro and the MAS plugin did NOT work. It does however work fine with the elicenser version. And I'm using the latest version of DP 11, on Windows 10.

    Can I ask where did you get the new MAS plugin bundle?

    I'm on MacOS...so that might be one difference....

    I just got my email this morning for my iLok changeover....  installed VePro....and the various VePro plugins are installed with that.  The MAS bundle happens to be dated with a timestamp from yesterday, that which was just installed. 

    Did you try to run Vienna Assistant to check for updates?

    I just tried again installing the ILok version of VE Pro with the Vienna Assistant and I can confirm that the MAS presets are gone, DP informs me that they can't be found.  :-(

    Try a download-only followed by a manual install. It worked for me on Mac.

    I am a little afraid to try again with the new iLok versions at all. (Ok, I'm A LOT afraid!)

    Have there been reports of the newest versions enabling MAS plugins for DP on Windows yet?

    If you have reverted to the eLicenser version as I have, Do NOT try to install the Futanaro Flute freebie, as it only installs via the Vienna Assistant and that installation will break your Synchron Player if still using the eLicenser versions.

    The latest version of VE Pro solves the problem.

    Are you quite sure it solves it for Windows users as well?

    A partial fix was released back on April 7th but it seemed that was working for Macs only.

    Thanks - that got me to try it on my Windows 10 machine, and you are correct that they fixed that issue and many others with the Windows version. Now I am bracing myself to apply the update to my Windows 11 main server.
