  • [SOLVED] Instruments I installed cloudn't be displayed when I used Synchron player in DAW

Hello I'm Sayano, I purchased Vienna Synchron-ized Special Edition 1.

I installed Synchron Player via Vienna Assistant.

Despite I can see my sound libraryies when I used Synchron Player with STAND ALONE mode, I cannot when I called it as DAW plugin.

    My environment infos are following:

    • Machine: Macbook Pro M1Pro
    • OS: MacOS Monterey 12.3
    • DAW: Logic Pro X 10.7.2 in Rosseta mode

Additionaly, I installed sound libraries in external SSD Device. ( under /Volumes/<<device-name>>/sound_library/..)

    I'm glad to any help

    Thanks

  • Hello Sayano,

    Please follow these steps:

    1) UNINSTALL the Synchron Player Software in your Vienna Assistant (right-click the product icon => Uninstall)

    2) Install the Synchron Player Software again with the Vienna Assistant.

    Then it will work.

    Best,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks for your help

I followed steps you suggested but anything didn't change😶

I found I cannot rescan database speed from DAW. I can do in standalone mode.

So I think Synchron cannot read SSD when used from DAW now.

    What should I do?

    Thanks,

    Sayano

    Hi Sayano,

That's strange. How is that drive formatted? And why is the Preload Size so big (that indicates a rather slow connection)?

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hi Paul,

My SSD is formatted in APFS format so I tried reformatting to MacOS Journal format and reinstalled them,

    then it worked!!

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards,

    Sayano
