  • RESOLVED - Free BBO not working after iLok migration

I successfully migrated all my libraries over to iLok cloud, and they are all working, including BBO Andromeda, Dorado, and Altair.  But the free BBO basics package is not working -- it does not show up in the standalone Synchron player, and in existing Logic projects it draws a big red X over the patches.

I am using the latest Synchron player (version 112), and the database shows that the path is recognized.  Vienna Assistant shows the free BBO package is installed, and the path is correct.  The syvolume files are present.  I don't see it in my iLok cloud, but I'm guessing that's because it's a free package, so it doesn't require a license -- is that correct?  I did re-download it through Vienna Assistant, and the new package has "iLok" in the directory name.  My guess is that Synchron is expecting an iLok license, but not finding one.

    Thanks,

    -Bill

  • RESOLVED -- the BBO free basics package needs to be separately activated in iLok, and it can't be activated to iLok cloud.  Activating it to the local machine worked -- though it changes the name and shows up under a different group in Synchron called ">>HELLO<< Free Instruments".

  • thank you for that! I hadn't thought of that, I was here about to post the same problem.

  • Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem for me.
    But again from the beginning:
Originally the license of the BBO Free ran with the eLicenser.
With the Celestial Strings I wanted to change completely to iLok. After several div. tries Celestial Stings is now displayed and playable in the SyncronPlayer, BBO Free is not. All licenses are transferred to the machine with the iLok Licenze Manager.
I have downloaded and installed BBO Free with the download manager. Also the NKS implementation. In NI-Complete the BBO is displayed, but files are not loaded (error message).
In the Vienna Assistant I have deleted eLicenser libraries and with BBO Free everything again from the beginning, unfortunately without success.
Now I do not know unfortunately no more further - THX for your help

  • I have done it WRONG myself. The Vienna Assistant did not log me into my account. Obviously this was turned off in the settings (for whatever reason).
After logging in, BBO was also made available for installation.
