Moving my VEP server questions

1. I am buying a new MBP with 128 GB of memory.  I want to move my VEP Server that is on my external computer with 255.255.255.4 to my main MBP (so it would be running as a server on my DAW machine(   to not to have carry with my the second computer. How can I connect all my instances in my template or open my older projects? THis is obvious my DAW machine cannot be 255.255.255.4

2. Is there nowadays ANY way before opening a Logic file to assign the IP of the VEP server manually  ?

 

3. I heard there are some incompatibilities. Will I be able to use VEP Plugins AU2 and AU3 on my new DAW Logic Machine on my M1 computer or there will be any issues???
