    Hello,

    I bought some VI libraries a year or so ago - And have ALL the licenses on the e-licenser keys SYNCROSOFT also called Vienna Keys !!!

    OK, I was looking through my account and there is a GOOD price to update to Synchron-ized versions of the same libraries.

    Then I saw the system requirements being for iLOK so I thought maybe it is just the IZED versions of the libraries that use iLOK.

    So then I checked the VI packages again and iLOK was again in the system requirements

    When did this change? - Of course I have all the licenses and downloads so these can still be used - Any info helpful - Thank you.

    Hello,

    When did the iLOK situation begin? - I see on the account pages there is a window to insert your iLOK account details for the licenses on account to be deposited.

    Is there a need to surrender the Vienna Key licenses? - I suppose if these can be kept and have licenses on iLOK too this could be quite useful but I don't like the idea of transferring to iLOK for existing licenses - Some good feedback is requested here - Thanks

    OK - I've converted my libraries to iLOK - The only items not converted are:

    Vienna Instruments Pro 2 (player)

    VEP 5 & 6

    Please just point some useful information this way that  is helpful - I've got my head round the Steinberg e-licenser system that will not be available for much longer to use via their servers - Thank you.

    OK so I've begun to transfer some licenses over to the iLOK dongles - Vienna Ensemble Pro 7 will transfer to iLOK but the Vienna Instruments Pro license will not transfer - So what can be done for a player on the iLOK dongles?

    EDIT - So this is a complication that isn't appreciated ðŸ˜Š - but is understandable due to Steinberg changing their way of doing things.

    All the licenses are on the Steinberg e-licensers and these are being kept and will be used along with Vienna Instruments Pro player.

    OK so now the switch to iLOK but it is not possible to have a license of the Vienna Instruments Pro player on the iLOK account - Why not?

    Will VSL release a player that can perform this task? - Please step forward (an expert) to explain the best way round this - Thanks
