It's gone pretty well so far. But I must have missed something.
As I understood it, once the samples had been downloaded/installed anew, if I fired up a project using the earlier VI player then saved it straight away it would convert to the Vienna Instruments Pro player automatically.
That isn't happening. On reloading the project the old player is still in use and the patches are all red.
(This contrasts with a project using the VI Pro player that does look at the new ilok libraries.)
If anyone can help - maybe a step I missed - then please bear in mind I'm not a technical person. Thank you.
I'm using an ilok key and working in Reaper. The relevant libraries have all downloaded successfully.
