  • VE Pro 7 crashes and makes Finale crashes too

    Hi! 

     
    I am having severe problems with VE Pro 7, it crashes all the time. The support has promised an update of VE.
    However, the problem with VE Pro is now affecting Finale 27, as soon the VE crashes and when I try to save the music which I’m working on, Finale crashes too. :(
    Anyone who has the same problem?

    and thanks! But since I'm working on a piece which is urgent, - are there any possibility to get the older version of VEPro7, that is the pre-iLok version?

    You can simply re-install the last eLicenser version of Vienna Ensemble Pro. It can be downloaded from here:
    https://www.vsl.co.at/MyVSL/MyDownloads

    Please note that it's not possible to open projects with the eLicenser version that have been saved with the iLok version.

    and thanks! However, when I started over with my project, setting up all buses, channels etc. I can't get my MIR Pro working - I guess I have to download a pre-iLok version of that too? 
    Sigh...

    That's correct. You will need to re-install MIR-Pro (eLicenser) too.

    I've done that now, but I can't get VEPro to communicate with Finale any longer. I've tried to restart VE and then Finale, but nothing works. When trying to reconnect in Audio Units the server window is blank. I tried to reassign in Score Manager, but without improvement. What to do?

    Since VEPro stopped communicate with Finale after downloading the e-licenser version VEPro, I decided to download the present version of VEPro and hoping the communication problem were solved. However, it is still malfunction! Thanks for any help with this mess.
