I'm quite happy with the migration to iLok, even because all my owned licenses and software are already iLok or dongle independent.
So at the actual status I still need to keep the eLicenser only for the MIR Pro plug-ins, (that I massively use in my workflow, and can't skip by the way) and beside keeping a USB port busy, I'm continuously experiencing the (usual, but now even more frequent for some reason, perhaps OS or HW updates or larger USB traffic... don't know) issues with dongle recognition.
So I'm really anxious of getting rid of the eLicenser once and forever: any hope the MIR Pro plug-in iLok updates are coming soon?

I also would like to see the Vienna Imperial updated. That's the last two remaining libraries on my eLicenser.

Grateful though I am for the various free libraries, I'm also looking forward to being able to migrate the remaining few VSL products from elicenser.

Bumping this up.
What's the status on this VSL?

There will be an info-update as soon as we know that we're ready to roll. Thanks for your patience!

MIR Pro 3D works (only) with iLok protection, but there will be no further updates for legacy MIR Pro, sorry to say so.
Kind regards,

Forced obsolescence ... disappointing. What about Imperial?

I understand what you're saying, still it's less "forced" than "determined by due circumstances". Steinberg decided to cancel its eLicenser development, but it's not that MIR Pro doesn't work any longer. :-)
I don't want to rehash the whole topic, but just to keep things in perspective: MIR fills the needs of a niche within a niche market. Re-programming (... that's what it needs when you "simply" change copy protection schemes") a legacy product when there's hardly enough man-power do develop the over-due next software generation would have been a problematic decision.
PS - don't know about Vienna Imperial.
