    How do you use it?

    How do you get MIR 3D added to a channel?

    I don't even know if VE Pro is seeing my MIR 3D installation.  How can I even verify this?

    I upgraded (silly me) and now nothing works.

    As soon as VE Pro's splash-screen shows the red MIR Pro-"sticker" in the lower right corner, you're ready to roll. MIR Pro 3D is a plug-in, from VEP's point-of-view, so you will load it like all other effects:

    Can I suggest that the name of the VST in this list should match the name of the product.  As far as I know, MIR Pro is the previous version, not 3D.  There should be a 3D in the name here too.

    Does this mean MIR Pro 3D replaces MIR Pro, and I can no longer use the 2D version?

    Is there a way to get the MIR Pro 3D to show as a tab in VE Pro like the previous version did?  Please?

    Automatic attachment to MIR doesn't work any more, maybe only for Synchron instruments, which I don't use (I use my other instruments).

    Hello Adrien, 

    It is necessary to keep the same plug-in name to stay compatible. 

    To answer your other questions: 

    • MIR Pro 3D replaces the classic MIR PRo. 
    • There is no way to show MIR Pro 3D in tabbed instances in VE Pro like before. 
    • Auto-Add MIR Pro has been fixed with the update you find in your Vienna Assistant!

    No matter what I do - I cannot get VE Pro 7 to see the MIR Pro Plugin after installing MIR Pro 3D. I know the plugin is there because Cubase sees it and runs it just fine. I am pretty sure I have the latest VE PRO 7.1.1395 - And I have tried many times to add the appropriate plugin folder to the VE Pro Settings.

    If you look at the image of my integrated plugins available to add to a channel in VE Pro, you can see I have everything that you showed in your picture, EXCEPT the MIR pro plugin.

    Any advice?

    I finally got it figured out. For some reason when I would update the VE Pro VST preferences to point to the appropriate VST plugin folders - and "scan for changes", it would still not see the plugin - also restarted VE Pro many times, which I some would have it rescan, also to no avail. What fixed it was pressing "reset and rescan ALL".
