I've upgraded my MP 24 to 24 3D and got my free roompack (Sage Gateshead - which is more than I got when I bought MP 24 last year!). I still have my non-3D Vienna Hall roompack and was wondering if there is a crossgrade option to the 3D version? If I had a choice I would prefer the Pernegg space since I have Sage Gateshead.
I notice the huge difference between the old and new MIRs - well worth the 75 bucks crossgrade price.

I don't know about regular cross-grades, but with questions like this it's always the best idea to get in contact with the nice folks of VSL's sales team directly -> sales@vsl.co.at . Maybe they have something to offer. :-)

short answer: yes.
There's a cross grade offer, it's quite convenient, and I agree that it's worth to buy.
...have fun, and don't forget to play with the new 3D orientation of the sound source, it has some unexpected benefit (increasing realism, in particular when you use z axis to point the floor (more ER) or the ceiling (more diffusion). 😉
