I have posted some threads and later found an answer.

But, other than posting my answer to my question, I don't know how to indicate it is resolved

Perhaps this can only be done by a moderator

usually we edit the original post and prefix the topic with "[SOLVED]" - if you mention the post or topic we can do that for you.
