  • Vienna Synchron Pianos doesn´t load samples

I had to rollback to version 1.2.51 of Vienna Synchron Pianos to be able to use the player. I´m curious. I mentioned this on my Win7 DAW and thought it would be a problem with Win7 but now i have my DAW on a Win10 machine and the problem is the same. The newest version 1.2.68 seems to be useless, on another Win10 machine it´s the same.

There must be others with the same problem.

  • Does the older version use eLicenser? The new version would need iLok, and the iLok version of the piano libraries.

  • It's all only for iLok, i switched completely to iLok and uninstalled the eLicenser.

  • Hi,

With such specific troubles, it always makes sense to provide our support team with as much information as possible: support@vsl.co.at, including screenshots.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but Synchron pianos wouldn't load any samples tonight for me either (I'm on Win 10). Nor woud Synchron Player display any of my BBO libraries!

I thought it must be an iLok issue at first, but then discovered that both players no longer had any folders mapped, so I had to re-add the paths. I have no idea what could have caused this, but it was a quick (if non-intuitive) fix. Hope your solution is straightforward too!
