  • Yamaha CFX - Key Release Noise

    Hello,

I apologize if this question was addressed in another thread before. I am not sure how to enter global search in the Forums and when going through all the threads in Synchron Libraries I could not find answer to this issue.

I do not see "Key Return Noise" adjustment for CFX piano.

    There is only:

    MIDI Sensitivity

    Half Pedal

    Pedal Noise.

Concert D-274 and Boesendorfer pianos have

    MIDI Sensitivity

    Half Pedal

    Pedal Noise.

     Key Rel. Noise.

Am I missing something? Why would CFX not have it? I cannot imagine hear the key noise on my headphones when playing very softly.

    Thank you,

    Michael

  • Hello Michael,

I must have forgotten that we did not record the key release noises for the CFX, our first Synchron Piano, when I answered your email to support@vsl.co.at. Sorry about that.

We're always trying to add more features with new recordings...

    Best,
    Paul

  • Hello,

I posted this question in another thread but I will add this issue here as well. It is again about Key Release Noise

I have an issue with Boesendorfer Upright 130 in this respect. This noise is (for some strange reasons) especially loud for E above middle C. I entered -75 db for Key Return Noise reduction but it does not have any effect.

I do not understand why we just cannot block this noise. What are exactly the problems with the Upright and why is this adjustment of noise so ineffective? What is the range of reduction?

I would appreciate a clear answer from Synchron Support, please.

    Thank you,

    Michael
