  • VI Solo Strings upgrade path

    Hello,

I own a few VSL libraries, most dear to me are the VI Solo Strings I and II (full). I have now moved to a new system: Macbook Air with M2 chip, running Cubase 12. I run everything natively without Rosetta, and it works great. I used to have VE Pro as well, but I don't really need that anymore.

So my question is: What is the simplest, cheapest path to upgrade my Solo Strings libraries so that they will run inside Cubase as VST3? Would that be the synchronised versions? I realise the VSL libs are not yet silicon native, but i understand they will be in the future?

    Many thanks!
    Carlos

    Hi Carlos,

We do offer great cross-grade paths for all owners of the VI Solo Strings to the SYNCHRON-ized Solo Strings. Our free Vienna Synchron Player is available as both VST & VST3 plugins and Apple Silicon support is also on our to-do list!

    Best regards,
    Andreas
