    Regarding the convention used in the description for Dizi:

    • Dizi in G, range: G4–G6, scale: G Major (G, A, B, C, D, E, F#)
    • Dizi in D, range: D4–D6, scale: D Major (D, E, F#, G, A, B, C#)
    • (c4 = middle c)

    I just want to share the convention used, at least for my side of the planet:

    Dizi in C (G4-G6) and

    Dizi in G (D4-D6).

    It took me a while to figure this out. So just be careful if you venture on to search online for more info on Dizi, especially which chromatic notes are comfortably playable. Otherwise, keep to the native diatonic scale, it will be more or less be idiomatic. Have fun with this new library!
