Another curious BBO Orion Woodwinds event with trills

Hello

I was looking for a trills patch on the flutes ensemble but discovered there isn't one. In spite of this I'm still able to play trills only not in the way I expected. I'm using the VSL SY Woodwind Ensembles exp map with Orion in Dorico 4 Pro and when I indicate a trill in the score it plays it ok but in the synchron player it is indicated as a long sustain.

I'm curious as to why this is happening. Thanks, CD

Hi Colin,

The fallback articulation for trills is a long note, and in that case, the Dorico engine does "play" the trill instead of using an actual trill sample (which does not exist for BBO Orion).
