reinstalling player with retained sample files

I had to reinstall my OS, but my sample files are preserved on a different drive.  I'd rather not waste ssd write cycle re-downloading the same things.  Will VI and Synchron player (both) see that the samples already exist after I reinstall the players?

Yes. Use Directory Manager to locate files for VI. In Sunchron, open Preferences/Database to locate files

Hi, 

Actually, if you're using our iLok versions already, you should use the Vienna Assistant to move any products. It is linked with the Directory Manager, and it's easier to keep the overview that way.
