I noticed this using a choir patch in Synchron Stage A - Wide with this position:

I boosted the ring-out +24db in this sample so you can hear it better. In real it sound quieter but still noticable. It sounds artificial.

Uh, that's really bad. Something must have gone wrong, because that's definitely not how MIR is intended to sound. Please tell us more about it (OS, host, audio system, latency settings, MIR buffer settings). It would also help to get hold of an exemplary project file that exhibits that issue on your end. Please send it to with reference to this thread.

TIA!

Hi HorNet505,

I am also interested in this issue. I also have experienced a similiar effect a few days ago but unfortunately cannot reproduce it at the moment. I am using roompack 2. My installed MIR Version is 7.0.520. Latest MIR update is 7.0.556 from November 9, 2022. My questions are:

1. What was your MIR version when experiencing the ring-out problem? Your post is from the same date as the latest MIR version is.

2. Did you provide a demo project to the VSL support for reproduction and analysis, to give them the opportunity to fix it?

Best regards

vokars
