    Hi,

    I did my VEPro 7 update yesterday. My license lays on my slave computer (PC) and it updated to 7.1.1427. I just realized that the server on my master computer (Mac), where there's no license, did not updated and still works with 7.0.1120.

    That might explain to problem I'm facing with Dorico (see other post).

    Shouldn't the server on my master update automatically? It seems to me it always did before.

    Otherwise, what is the procedure?

    Hi!

    Updating the VE Pro software on your networked computer does not automatically update your VE Pro software on your host machine. The VE Pro plugin is not "coming from the other computer" - if that makes sense. Please always use the same version on all your VE Pro machines.

    Hi Vox, 

    More background: 7.0 versions of VE Pro are eLicenser versions., and 7.0.1120 was the latest version that was released for eLicenser, so there will be no more updates. 

    Best to install the Vienna Assistant and update VE Pro on your master computer.
