  • VSL Special Edition 1 and Cubase 10

I'm using VSL Special Edition 1 and Cubase 10 on a PC.

I loaded VSL Instrument x64 into Cubase 10, a Flute Leg patch. The reverb is ON, even when the reverb tab shows it is not on. Even 'Bypass' does nothing to turn it off. I have no CC's loaded on the track.

In Studio One 4, I load the VSL Instrument x64 and the reverb is off, the sample plays dry. Thus the problem is most likely with Cubase 10.

Is there something Cubase does with individual VSL Special Edition samples in the background I don't know about?

    Sincerely yours,
    Dave

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for posting!

Which software version are you using, and did you apply all available updates?

Looks like you have not made the Switch to iLok yet, correct?

    Best,
    Paul
