    Hi,

    I own the above library - with the recent iLok switch and removal of Standard VI library versions will I be entitled to a free upgrade to the Full version?

    Hi, 

    You will get the same standard library license for iLok. We decided to switch to "only" Full Libraries for single instruments from now on, to make things a bit simpler.

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for getting back to me. I think I read earlier that owners of VI Special Edition Volumes 1&2 were granted a free upgrade to the PLUS versions as part of the iLok transition - is this true? I was wondering if this was the same for owners of any Standard VI Libraries. If not, I would still be able to purchase the upgrade to the full library?

    I see only Full Libraries for VI Collections such as Percussion, not just for single instruments?

    I wonder where you ready that about the VI Special Editions... it must be a misunderstanding about this special situation for VI section users. This situation only affects the VI Special Editions.

    Hi Paul,

    Apologies - my misunderstanding. After reading the 'Hello iLok' page it makes sense now.

    VI Standard Libraries of Collections and Single Instruments have been discontinued. Only VI Full Libraries are available, at lower prices! Users of registered VI Standard Libraries will always be able to upgrade to the VI Full Libraries.
