I apologize if I am missing something obvious.  I LOVE this and all my other VSL libraries, but I'm either stumbling upon a bug or I just don't understand how this library is supposed to function.

I have loaded the VelFX Sus-Mod > "High & Low Str (BBO L&M)  XF sus" patch.   When I activate the Legato keyswitch, I can hear that there is a faster attack vs the Longs keyswitch, but it still doesn't cutoff the previously played note, as-in, I can basically still play chords.

I also realize that I can use the "Low Strings" patch and get the legato I am looking for.  I guess I don't understand why the first patch I mentioned has a Legato keyswitch, if that isn't how it sounds?  As I said, I have no doubt there is a logical explanation that I'm just missing. Can someone help me understand what's going on?

Hi Eric,

Can you please post a picture of what you mean?

In general, unlike other libraries, our legato only works with the "legato" articulations, so you cannot "activate legato" for the sustain patches.

Best,
Paul

Hi,

The Legato mode is set to "Poly" by default for this patch. You need to set it to "Mono".
