Can someone clarify what the VI Collections presets that show in VI Pro are, specifically, the pdf manuals explain all the detail of the L1 (level 1) and L2 (level 2) presets, I take it corresponding with the Standard and Extended libraries.
But they make no mention of the "VI Pro" presets that are shown alongside these in the VI Pro player. Just looking at it I can't tell if the "VI Pro" presets are older or newer creations than the L1 and L2 presets. I'm wondering if they were set up when original VI Pro was released to take advantage of it's capabilities at the time. Not sure if they have been enhanced for VI Pro 2.
The Level presets make perfect sense to me, so I'm inclined to use them. sy Woods, Brass, Perc I, Str Pro, Elite Str, Prime

L1 & L2 are referencing Standard & Full content. That's correct. Before the switch to iLOK, we had a free Vienna Instruments Player & the Vienna Instruments Pro Player with additional features. "VI Pro" presets were only accessible to users using the VI Pro Player.
Since the switch to iLOK, all users now have access to the Vienna Instruments Pro Player and its features.
