  • VEP 7 stuck on scanning plugins

    Hello everyone,

    I downloaded and installed the latest update of VEP7, it just prompted and asked me if I wanted to install so sure why not, not it's just stuck on 'scanning plugins' every time I open the software.

    Clicking Skip doesn't do anything, I can click on Cancel, but shouldn't I solve this?

    What can I do please?

    So the scan worked fine with 1406 and you could see all your plug-ins?
    1481 only scans VST3 plug-ins... which ones do you have installed?

    I'm not sure if my previous version was 1406, I think it was the latest, I bought VEP7 two months ago. But yes the scan worked fine.

    How can I know which plugins I have installed, you would like to see a full list?

    Should I try to reinstall VEP?

    You can see your installed VST3 plug-ins under C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.

  • Same here on latest Monterey. And I am sick of repeating to start all over again "Reset And Rescan All". Thinking about to delete the app. Waisting to much time with this. My Cubase Pro 12 has no problem with the plugins. And if, it just disables them. But not stuck in such a process of scanning, where "Cancel" is the only option to continue. "Scan for Changes" also endless, no result. And your are left, with a lot of plugins not available, because of an unfinished scan.


  • Is there a solution to this problem?

    Why does the scan process continue?
