I notice the background grid of my MIR is diagonal, which I find somewhat irritating. I how do I set it back to horizontal?

How does it happen - did I change it accidentally ? If so, I can't find a way to set it back?

That's a feature, not a bug! :-) Please see the screenshot below for the navigation of the 3D map.

Replace "Command" with "Control" when you're on Windows.

Wait a minute: You say that you hold Cmd/Ctrl, double-click anywhere directly in the Venue Map (i.e. "the hall") - and the map _doesn't_ switch back to a birds-eye view with a straight left/right/top/bottom grid?!? If this is the case you have either encountered a rare bug I've never heard of before, or there's still a decisive step missing in your description.

Does this also happen when you create a fresh tab in MIR, with a new Venue?

I closed it all down and re-opened and it worked as you say.
