> [SOLVED] Synchron player (VST3 and VST2) not playing StudioOne 6 sound variations
Forum Jump
I am having trouble getting the VST3 to trigger sound variation changes in the latest version of Studio One 6 using the apple silicon synchron player on a Mac Studio M1 Ultra. Here is what I am seeing:
1. Load synchron VST3 and the sound variation is automatically available, but does not trigger changes to played sounds when used in a track with sound variations applied to notes
2. Manually load a sound variation file (from Art Conductor by Babylon Waves) in the VST2 version, and it will trigger changes.
OS is macOS Ventura 13.2.1
I report this to Presonus and confirmed that the behavior occurs when Studio One 6.02 is launched in either native mode or Rosetta mode. They suggested I ask if VSL has tested the new Synchron player with Studio One. I am sure this is not high on the val radar given all the development that is taking place with the transition to apple silicon. But, I figured I would register the issue.

Do you have the latest Synchron Player update? I think it address that issue.

Thanks. I just got a note from tech support. I assumed that I had the latest, as I downloaded it the day the apple silicon was announced. But, I was wrong. I was on 1.3.158...the latest version fixed the issue!
