Maybe we can help you out if you tell you specs (sequencer, clients/slaves, Win/Mac) and the point where you are stuck. Maybe with screenshots, if helpful. 

I understand that the integration seems a bit overwhelming, but after understanding the signal chain, it's a piece of cake :-)
