Hello,
I have just purchased the VES pro 7 to use my old macpro 5.1 as a Server.
I work with Logic pro on mac mini m1, MacPro 5.1 runs with Mojave 10.14.6. The software and the license is installed correctly.
The nerwork connection between MacMini and Macpro is stabile and running without problems. I can drag and drop folders between
the two macs, screen sharing with no issues. Ivp4 adress is setup manually.
Every time I try to connect VES pro server with the plug in, connection fails. "..couldnt connect to service" But if I
Start the Service App, VES plugin connects to the same computer, only Synchron Player is shown. Seems like the VES pro server on the second mac isn't recognized at all.
Is it at least a problem concerning the old macpro Xeon CPU (12 core 3,46 ghz 5690) ?
Has anybody similar issues?

Hi Jesill,
Could it be that you are mixing up the free "Vienna Ensemble" (with a VE SerVICE) and the paid "Vienna Ensemble Pro" (with a VE Pro SerVER)?
You can always send some screenshots to to clear things up!

thank you, it was my mistake. I am not familiar with the GUI of Vienna ensemble vs. Vienna Ensemble pro.
The "pro" was not activated in Logics Plugin manager, so it wasn't shown in Logic. After setting this up correctly, everything
works fine.
