    Hi everybody,

    The newest version of MIR Pro 3D comes with great performance improvements for everyone (we're measuring up to double the possible icons on different computers!) and of course the long-awaited Apple Silicon Native Compatibility will also be a highlight for all Apple M1/M2 users.

    Get the latest version in your Vienna Assistant and let us know how you like it.

    This update crashes the latest Logic on my intel imac Pro. Rolling back fixes this.

    Hi antcarrier,

    Thanks for reporting - no known issues with Logic Pro 10.7 and MIR Pro 3D 7.2.3276 on Intel Macs though...

    Would you mind sending the corresponding Console reports to support@vsl.co.at so we can better look into this?

    Same issue here. If I insert MIR on a blank project it works fine but when loading up a previous session Logic crashes straight away. 

     

    I´m on Logic 10.7.7 and MacOS 12.6.3.

     

    Will submit a console report.

    Sorry to hear you're facing problems. VSL's developers politely ask if it would be possible to supply one of the crashing sessions themselves ...? That would make it much easier to trace the problem.

    Yes, without audio files (if there are any at all), and actually even the first bar of your MIDI file should be sufficient if you are hesitant to share ongoing work - which would be quite understandable.

    Paul,

    In which is the best context to use MIR and Ensemble software? In a sequencing software like Logic or Performer, or recording directly audio? Does Vienna offer any means of sequencing in its software packages?

    Does MIR Pro 3D allow for the MIRx feature within Vienna Instruments Pro 2? I have a new Apple M1 computer running the new iLok-based VSL files/content. The MIRx feature used to be available on the old eLicenser-based Vienna Instrument Pro 2 and was great feature! Thank you
