Missing Instances

When I launch Cubase, Vepro7 connects to the instances but when I add a new vepro7 instrument track, the list is empty. I have to go into the server and close VPro7, reopen it and load the project.  After doing that the instances will be there.  

Anyone have any ideas why this is happening?

Which OS, how many computers (and how are they connected), which version of VE Pro?

Hi Paul,

Daw System:

Windows 11, i7 13700 cpu, 32 gb ram.

 

Server PC:

Windows 11, i7 8700t cpu, 16 gb ram.

Up until recently it's worked flawlessly.

Today it's working so if it does it again, I'll post back up.

I'm having a similar problem. Using Dorico & Cubase (Windows 11). Existing instances in the Dorico project are there, but when I add a new instance, the server window is empty. Also when I disconnect an instance in Dorico, the free instance does not become available for connection.

We will need to collect more information about your network settings. 

It looks like the Bonjour Service is the culprit for these rare missing connections...
