> Disable Spitfire proprietary plugin in VEP does not work as intended?
Forum Jump
Hello,
I am using the disable channel feature of VEP to optimize RAM usage (and having sort of a modular template) but this feature does not seem to work with Appassionata Strings from Spitfire Audio.
Is this a VEP issue or a Spitfire Plugin issue?
(as it does work with SINE, I'm inclined to think it is a Spitfire issue,; if development team could confirm, I would be able to ask Spitifre for a fix...)
TIA

There is a known VEP bug, that VST3 plugins don't get disabled properly. I've heard that this gets fixed in an update next week (not 100% sure though). Or use VST or AU plugin format instead.

Thanks for the info :-)
So, I'll wait for the next release ; if it does not fix the problem, I will install VST2 plugin format and be patient...
