Hi,
So, NotePerformer 4 is finally out. I immediately tested it with the Star Wars' Main Title score and VSL Synchron Prime. This is what I got, with nothing I had to edit.

fantastic. I wish he had a (synchronized) SE- Tamplate.

It mostly sounds excellent. The trumpet high C is so weak though, it’s really disappointing. I wonder what can be done to fix it? I don’t have Synchron Prime. I am considering it… but really want to know what’s up with that note.

Thanks Paolo,
I am on the way to purchase the Synchron Prime as it sounds great (I already have many VSL Synchron and Synchronised products) and has the lowest footprint of all the Wallander listed Libraries, I mostly want to concentrate on the writing instead of the tweaking (NP4 NPPE does that for you now thanks to its powerful AI).
Your demo proves that the combination between Note Performer 4 NPPE and Synchron Prime works fine out of the box without any editing and at the end with a good engineer to finalize your project if needed.
Now it is almost possible to deliver a final project without going through a DAW thanks to sample Libraries being able to work in collaboration with NP4 playback engine.
Thumbs up !

One of the nicest thing is that, despite its incredibly low footprint, Prime does with NP more than one would expect from it: NPPE adds articulations that are not in the original library. Therefore, it might be small, but it does unexpected things (like brass mutes).

hi, could you tell me how you activated NP4 playback engine? ...the only info in the NP manual is " locate VST3 plugin and activate". I found NotePerformer.vst3 in windows ProgramFiles/CommonFiles but there is nothing to activate!? (I work with Dorico and synchron Prime; I can see Noteperformer in Dorico but no way how to activate the VSL samples) . Can you help? thanks so much!!!

You need to install the NP Engine for VSL Prime (NPPE). You load instrument there for NP4 to use in Dorico
Dorico, Finale, Sibelius, Notion, Overture, Cubase, StaffPad Win11 x64, 64GB RAM; Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 Kontakt, Bunch of VSL, VIP, VEP, EWQL Orch, Choir and Pianos August Forster 190
