So yes, the subject says it all. I've been playing around for more than an hour now trying to configure an input/buss in VEP from a dedicated output in Kontakt. I then want to send this channel direct to my DAW, maintaining the solo track there as well, before it's mixed.

Kontakt sseems to be configured properly. I've got the instrument set to a unique output. Been doing this for too many years... ;-)

VEP is where I'm having a problem; I can't seem to find where in a Buss to add this dedicated Kontakt channel as an input to the VEP Mixer, let alone getting to the stage of sending it out to my DAW as its own independent channel.

Thanks in advance for any help or for pointing me in the right direction.

What you're looking for is called an "input channel".  Add one by right clicking in the main mixer window.  Then, at the top of the newly created channel, you can set the input to be the output of any VI instance, including your kontakt instance.

Right... but I can't seem to find the dedicated Kontakt output channel in the VEP dropdown that connects the two.

(about a half-hour later)

poked around a bit more and got it working. πŸŽΆπŸŽΆπŸ‘πŸ»
