I have a weird issue with Cubase and VEPRO. Sometimes while I'm working on a project, I will notice a CPU increase. Fans will speed up. Once I close Cubase, VEPRO will hang and CPU will sometimes go to 100% until I force close VEPRO. Sometimes it freezes while the Cubase project is still open.
It can happen without ANYTHING playing. I could be downstairs not working on anything and it will ramp CPU and freeze.
Basically, it's an issue when VEPRO is connected to Cubase 11. I'm using Opus, Sine, and Kontakt 7 in VEPRO. I have the latest version.
I don't have this issue when VEPRO is loaded but NOT connected.
I don't have this issue with a Cubase project loaded but NOT connected to VEPRO.
It's 100% an issue when the two are paired. And I always know the hang will happen because a CPU increase starts.

Hi! Does this only happen when the GUI of the connected VE Pro stays open on the screen? And not when you minimize the VE Pro application?

That's a good question. I'm not sure. It might only be when it's open on the screen but I will need to pay attention to that next time it happens.
