    Will the VSL include saxaphone (soprano, alto, tenor and baritone)samples, because at present there is no library that has convincing samples. Also will the library include some of the more esoteric woodwind instruments such as piccolo clarinet, oboe d'amore, hecklephone, alto and bass flutes.

    Hello Mirabile,

    according to the concept of the Vienna Symphonic Library the list of instruments to be recorded is pretty long, therefore we had to set priorities for the First and Pro Editions.
    The list of sampled instruments will however grow rapidly and get more and more complete. The following wind instruments will be recorded next year:

    Double horn, natural trumpet, cornet, flugelhorn, alto trombone, euphonium.
    Alto flute, bass flute, oboe d’amore, heckelphone, sarrusophone, high clarinet in Eb, A-clarinet, contrabass clarinet, basset horn and the saxophone family (from soprano to contrabass).
