    Congratulation for what it seems such a fantastic product!!
    I am a Mac user. Do I really need to work with EXS24 mkII and Logic to use this wonderful library? Or maybe I can use Kontakt sampler from native instruments as it can read gigasampler libraries and have those sounds directly into my protools set-up?

    I would really appreciate an answer as it would change a lot in my way of working.

    It won't be perfect but Kontakt does seem to read gig files decently. You would miss out on some of fancy native programing features and you will probably not get the strength in streaming (hard disk based) polyphony that the native Giga would give you on such large libraries as this. I think VSL literature does mention something about keeping up with the future of sampling technology (or something like that) so a native version could theoretically happen also eventually. Who knows.

    Maybe it is better for me waiting for what will be the new features in EXS mkII for a real comparison.
    What we all need, is a easy to use, a performant and a very very stable sampler environment.
    We only want to do music and stop installing computer/hardware/software fight with compatibility...
