  • 16 and 24 bit

    Hi

I won't buy the whole cube at once, but will have a period of transition between my Pro-Ed and the Sym-Cube. (My income forces me to invest slowly) However, the Pro-Ed is 16 bit whereas the Sym-Cube is 24. How can I work with both at the same time? Can I resample either one libraries?

  • there is no problem using both at the same time.

Set your daw to 24 bits.
The 16 bit VSL will automatically render the audio at 24 bits when either freezing, bouncing or at mix down.

There is no need to have all samples at 24 bits. You are already probably mixing 16 and 24 bit samples without even realizing it as VSTI's and libs are all using different bit depths.
